Interior of oven, fridge and microwave — the areas landlords inspect most closely at move-out.

All floors

Vacuum and mop every room, including closets and behind where furniture used to sit.

Walls & switches

Spot-clean marks on walls, wipe down light switches, outlet covers and door handles.

Windows & sills

Interior windows, tracks and sills cleaned streak-free.

Closets & storage

Empty closets, shelving and storage areas dusted and wiped down inside and out.

Trash & final walkthrough

Remove all trash and debris, final check to make sure the unit is truly move-in ready.
